The Verge Festival is featuring six Australian games made by students and recent graduates.
We put together The Arcade to celebrate them. I was asked to curate the games exhibition.
I had a lot of fun writing the intro screen (above), and working out how to make the games quit automatically if left alone for too long. Also, I printed an instruction telling people how to quit games, a feature that is often not included.
The games on exhibition were:
▴ Ascoman Swings, by Michael Chu
▴ Bermuda, by Marcus Lam
▴ Enterchained, by Featherweight Games (Dylan Bevis, Tim Kaldor, Yosha Noesjirwan)
▴ Fatal Theory, by 2 Hit Studios
▴ Icarus, by nvekm
▴ Super Adventure Pals 2, by Julian Wilton
