Hidden Rippon Lea

2022
During the global pandemic, we created a sound-centric augmented reality experience. The team at Monash University wanted to revitalise visitation to the Rippon Lea Estate after several long hard lockdown periods.

We wanted to create a visual encounter with what lies beneath Rippon Lea Estate, and prompt them to discover the hidden water stories. We used rotoscoping, photo composition, and many small drawings of the floral, fauna, and animals at Rippon Lea to achieve the look and feel of an online illustrated field guide.

Nerd Nite Melbourne

2019—2023
Nerd Nite Melbourne started in October 2013 as part of a global community movement to create entertaining and educational talks. We started out as attendees, then speakers, then volunteered ourselves as videographers to film their events.

We wanted to capture the raw energy at the event, and our videos framed the front-row audiences with minimal editing to recreate the feeling of being there. Since 2019 we have filmed 18 events for them in total with 54 talks.

Web Directions

2014, 2015, 2020
Web Directions is Australia’s longest-running premiere web design and development conference series. It delivers talks and hosts workshops for everything about the web, as well as hosting and supporting local community meetups. Its free event, What Do You Know, returned to Melbourne in 2022.

Jump to Glide filmed four of their events, “Summit” (2014), “Respond” (2015), “Hover” (2020), and "Code" (2020). We were brought on board to produce recordings that are archived in Web Direction’s online platform, Conffab.
